The Olympic Solidarity technical course in taekwondo is staged in Ulaanbaatar under the conducting of Mr.Kim Seok-San , WTF expert from Korea, with participation of 40 persons from all over the country.Mr.J.Otgontsagaan , NOC Secretary-General , and Mr.S.Ganzorig , Vice – President of Mongolian Taekwondo Federation are attended the closing ceremony and awarded a participants by Olympic Certificates. Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia: Mongolia NOC organised an Olympic Forum in Selenge, Bulgan and Huvsgul provinces, situated 1,200km from the capital city of Ulaanbaatar. Around 300 delegates took part, including teachers, school children and volunteers. Dr. D. Zagdsuren, NOC President, and Mr. Sh. Magvan, IOC Honorary Member, were the main sports dignitaries to attend the Forum.
In addition, volleyball and national wrestling competitions were held, as well as the Olympic Education For All seminar.

Mayor G.Munkhbayar has contributed plenty for Sport and Olympic movement since he became a head of the city. He initiated a project of sports infrastructure for secondary schools, which built over 60 sports outdoor fields and three indoor facilities. Also he led many organizing committees for the international sports event, such as FISU World Boxing Championships, Asian Bodybuilding Championships etc. As well as he is the founder and President of the Ulaanbaatar Football club, which won National League Title this year.

The Olympic Solidarity ”London-2012″ scholarship holders are welcomed by Dr.D.Zagdsuren , NOC President , at Olympic House , by receiving first olympic stidendiums , as well as their coaches , sparrings and supporting staffs.Mongolia NOC has got a ten scholarships for London-2012 in boxing , judo , shooting , wrestling and for the first time in archery and weightlifting. Three years ago , all eight members of “Olympic Solidarity Team ” have obtained a quota places , plus one gold , one silver and two diplomas , proudly fulfilling their duties to IOC.
Mongolian National Basketball team wears Qiaodan uniform

Qiaodan uniform handover ceremony is held at Olympic House.Mr.J.Otgontsagaan , NOC Secretary-General , Mr.B.Dashdorj and O.Bayartsogt , Head coach.
The Qiaodan Co.LTD , the official partner of Mongolian National Olympic Committee, has signed a cooperation with Mongolian Basketball Federation , in April in city of Xiamen , agree on sponsorship of Mongolian national men’s basketball team to East Asian Championships in Nanjing and further to Asian Championships in Wuhan.
Mongolia NOC in kind coopartion with Olympic Solidarity , under the programm of ” TEAM SPORT GRANT ” , is rendered full financial support to men’s basketball team , who made a first-ever two wins over Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan during the Guangzhou-2010 Asian Games.
Mongolia NOC with its official partner Qiaodan has made sponsorship for Team Mongolia at five Games , such as a The III Asian Indoor Games ( Vietnam , 2009 ) , The V East Asian Games (Hongkong , 2009 ) , The XXI Winter Olympic Games ( Vancouver , 2010 ) , The 1st Summer Youth Olympic Games ( Singapore ) and The XVI Asian Games ( Guangzhou , 2010 ).
The Scientific conference of Sports Medicine is held

The Scientific conference of Sports Medicine, dedicated to the 50′s anniversary of the Mongolian Sports Science creation , took place in Olympic House , Ulaanbaatar and this session is co-organized by the Mongolian National Olympic Academy and Sports Medicine Department of State Authority of Physical Education and Sports. Over 20 researchers and selected students attended this conference.
First places are won by Yu.Gandolgor( Avarga Sports College ) in the category of researchers on his paper about the traditional milk products impact to freestyle wrestling and B.Burmaa( Students category ) from of Health Science University of Mongolia, on her paper titled “Physical Capacity of judo and freestyle wrestling athletes ” respectively.
Dr. D.Zagdsuren, President of Mongolian NOC and NOA, Ch.Naranbaatar, Chairman of State Authority for Physical Education and Sport, Dr.Tarvaa, Founding Director of Sports Medicine Department of latter and other prominent scientists attended the conference.
Women basketball hope rise

Mongolian National Olympic Committee’s “Women & Sport” Commission in kind cooperation with Mongolian Basketball Federation is organizing women’s basketball tournament with two age groups ( under & up to 34 ) with participation of 20 teams.Mr.D.Zagdsuren , NOC President , Mr.Ch.Naranbaatar , Chairman of State Authority for Physical Education and Sport , Mr.B.Dashdorj , Secretary-General of Mongolian Basketball Federation , Mrs.D.Arvin , Member of Parliament and Chairowman of NOC Woman & Sport Commission , well-known veterans are attended the opening ceremony at Central Sports Gymnasium yesterday.The main goal of this tournamnet is to support women basketball , involve more girls to this sport , upgrade their perfomance and finally aimed at sending of a mongolian women basketball team to “Tianjin-2013″ East Asian Games to break the unpleasant fact of full-absence of female representatives in basketball in any regional and continental Games before ,while male colleagues did it quite well since 1993 so far.The tournament , which attracted 250 female players , will last till April 3rd and finals will be held in new Sports Complex.Mongolian women athletes proved their strength internationally in judo , wrestling , shooting and even in boxing , capturing gold , silver , bronze medals at World Championships and Asian Games , held last year.
Annual seminar on Olympic education was held

“The methodology for spread the Olympic education to teenagers” annually seminar was held on the 28th of March, 2011 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. It was jointly organized by Mongolian NOC and Mongolian National Olympic Academy. Sh.Magvan, Honorary Member of IOC, Dr. D.Zagdsuren, President of Mongolian NOC, opened this seminar. There are about a hundred of people, Executives of branch councils of NOC, Methodists in physical education, and teachers from secondary schools are attended. All the attendees received “Olympic education” book, which contains history of Olympic history, Olympic Truce, IOC and Mongolian NOC.
During the seminar lecturers gave speech about major aims of Olympic education, Olympism for all, their methodology and how to get a Olympic education via internet.
OLYMPIC HISTORY in MEDAL LANGUAGE

Mongolia NOC in kind cooperation with ” Development Center for Sports Communication ” ( DCSC ) and Mongolian Olympians Association has opened an first-ever exhibition titled “Our Sporting proud in language of medals ” at Central Art Gallery in Ulaanbaatar. Main purpose of the extraordinary exhibition of this kind is to show to visitors all medals in original gained by Mongolian top athletes at Olympic and Asian Games , as well as World and Continental Championships for past years. Dr.D.Zagdsuren , NOC President , Mr.Ch.Naranbaatar , Chairman of State Authority for Physical Education & Sport , Mr.Ts.Gankhuu-Abdul , President of DCSC and some olympic medal winners are attended the opening ceremony and they witnessed the 150 proud-worth original medals , which glorified Mongolia at international stage.Mongolia NOC has a participation at the 12 editions of Olympic Games , since Tokyo-64 , and captured 2 gold, 7 silver and 10 bronze in wrestling , judo , shooting and boxing respectively.
